Full Basement Finishing Project

This extensive unfinished basement with high ceilings and full access to the backyard was perfect for a finishing project. We took this cement slab with exposed ductwork and plumbing and created a beautiful multi-room space.
We designed and installed a full kitchen and full bathroom. Custom sliding barn doors were built, stained and installed to separate the living room/guest room from the kitchen and dining area. A whole side of the basement now houses a gym and play area. These homeowners gained loads of living space all within their home's existing footprint.

This side of the finished basement is for dining and entertaining. A full kitchen with a large island was designed and installed by Monk's. Open shelving and teal counter stools give the basement space a light and airy feel.

A large living room off the kitchen was also built. The full bathroom is off this room, since this space doubles as a guest room when needed.

Monk's carpenters custom built and stained these sliding barn doors. Since this room is being used as both a living space as well as a guest room, these sliders can be used to close off the room from the adjacent kitchen.

New adult and child gym area in newly finished basement. Luxury vinyl flooring adds a little cushion underfoot. It's also warmer than tile or hardwood.

There is a space for everyone in the family in this expansive finished basement. One side of the basement houses a gym and playroom.

A full bathroom was designed and installed by Monk's. This will allow for overnight guests to have their own bathroom space.
