This custom timber frame home is in upstate South Carolina. The full structural main frame, two gable porches with curved bottom chords, and wrap around porch were cut from eastern white pine. Built with traditional hand cut mortise and tenon joinery, we cut and test fitted the frame in our shop and then raised it on site. We also installed tongue and groove ceiling decking, 8" structural insulated roof panels , and custom open tread stairs inside. The generous amount of porch space makes enjoying the home's beautiful setting easy to appreciate. Located a short walk through the woods next to a creek is a pavilion we previously built.
