CPL (material thickness about 0.2 mm) is a multi-layer, electron beam cured laminate, similar to floors or kitchen countertops. In a highly complex manufacturing process are thereby impregnated cellulosic fibrous webs (paper) pressed continuously hardening under heat melamine resin. The final protective layer (overlay) is provided with an extremely durable melamine resin.
Dark Oak laminated internal doors are timber-structured, but with a man-made facing that recreates the natural feel of real wood, from the colour to the face structure. This would allow continuity of shade and finish on laminated doors with maximum authenticity impression. This impression of real wood has been possible by highly sophisticated reproduction technology, which recreates timber texture, grain and color.
