Our clients purchased a large home in the suburbs that will require quite a bit of cosmetic updates over time. Therefore, when it came to their Kitchen, the approach was not to replace, but to retrofit and update. We removed upper glass door cabinets and added a custom toe kick at the coffee bar to create a more intentional design, relocated upper cabinets above the cooktop to create a custom hood vent, refaced all upper cabinetry and painted all cabinets to bring the style and finishes up to date. We added a waterfall edge to the island to give more character and added a white marble picket backsplash. The gold and acrylic modern pendants, gold hardware and agate decorative hardware at the coffee nook added the perfect touch to finish off this design.
