I designed the plant palette around a split complementary color scheme, which consisted of orange, purple, and yellow. There are also a few sprays of pink next to some light gray plants, which I find compliment one another real well. I focused on selecting plants that are underused in Templeton, while able to withstand the 15 degree temperatures of North County.
