Golden frog pond

Slate terraces surround the rectangular basin. The sun reflects of the basin onto the ceiling of the master bedroom. Purple was selected for the furniture to contrast with the green, green, green of the forest, garden and house. A pergola will eventually shade the patio door.

The pond and terraces extend the architectural lines of the house into the garden using local blue gray slate. The violet coloured of the wood furniture contrasts boldly with the surrounding greens of the forest and landscape.
