Goose Hollow Renovation
This historic Southwest Portland home, built in 1910, was transformed for contemporary living while maintaining its historic character. The main living areas use a traditional painted millwork casing and crown moulding. The exterior doors in the master bedroom were created to identically match the existing doors directly below. The kitchen had perfectly blended the cabinetry, using both painted cabinets, and African Mahogany with a clear finish. The kitchen woodwork was painted , and there is a brick wall with metal shelves achieving a clean contemporary feel. Photos by David Farris.
