Gothic Style Home
The millwork used in this home was adaptively repurposed from its original setting: a Gothic style Roman Catholic Church in New Jersey. Many unique pieces of wood were taken from the church and creatively reused in different ways. Doors became panels, panels became cabinets, and a confessional became an entertainment center. Since pieces often did not fit exactly, our team filled in gaps and recreated particular elements in the shop to make the millwork fit its new purpose. Entirely new pieces, such as brackets, bargeboards, and rafter tails were also created to match the style of the home.
