The front facade of the home maintains many of the characteristic features in the neighbourhood: gable roof-line, punched openings, covered front porch, elevated entrance, door facing the street, etc.

Taking advantage of the double height space provided by the main stairwell, the 11' tall window is set directly into the corner of the adjacent wall. The cascading light is a delight to watch and reduces the needs for artificial lighting throughout the second floor common areas.

Clerestory windows bathe this 3 piece bathroom in natural light while maintaining visual privacy. Penny tile on the floor and subway tile on the wall create a uniform texture throughout the space that is accented with a coloured shower niche and the gold cabinet pulls.
