This was another typical 1980's Oak kitchen with tile countertops and a laminate floor. We remodeled with custom made cabinets with a dark stain & sealer. My favorite aspect of this project is the slightly deeper cabinet above the microwave which gives this kitchen some depth on its long side. The Island was also cool with multiple access points at each corner to maximize space. The lighting is terrific going from a wooden light box on the ceiling to can lighting on multiple dimmer switches and undercounted accent lights. Pendants were installed over the island after these photo's were taken.
