The goal of this project was to expand our clients ability to enjoy the outdoors and extend that enjoyment as far into winter as possible. We created a south facing courtyard with ample hardscaping in order to capture natural light and warmth, extending its usage into the late fall and early winter months.

We designed the courtyard wall to enhance privacy and minimize the impact of the wind during colder. Additional benefits include minimizing the noise of the wind and increasing heat retention in the outdoor living space.
