We wanted an inviting office space that was also stately and had plenty of storage. Our free floating desk allows the space to appear spacious and open, but still has a large enough presence to fill the room. We used a brown leather tone as a warm contrast to all the gray in the room, and a lighter gray finish on the large storage piece so it didn't feel so heavy and weigh the room down.
