In this remodel, we took down an existing dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room and incorporated the supporting beam into the cabinetry design. We also moved the door opening into the family room to the left of the new fridge location so that we could create a functional L-shaped kitchen with a large cooking island with raised seating for four. We also created some custom built-ins to the left and right of the family room fireplace to give this family 2 new beautiful functional rooms!
