This project was especially enjoyable. This area was once divided into two separate rooms; a kitchen and a dining room. We were able to take the wall out, give her a peninsula which allows them to entertain while they cook as well as give them the room for a wall-to-wall buffet area. This gave them a ton of extra storage and allows them to use both spaces at the same time. We also created an egress path by raising the back of the island so that people walking by wouldn't knock into anything that was cooking on the cooktop.
