Keeping the customer's original floor plan we were able to update their kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, appliances, and lighting. We started with white painted cabinets on the top and gray painted cabinets on the bottom. They wanted to display china that they had, so we framed the range with cabinets that had glass doors and shelves. Adding down lighting in the cabinets and under the them, created a welcoming feel. We finished it off with a white subway backsplash mixed with a blue glass mosaic to add a little color. Using a chimney style range hood gave the space verticality.
