A renovation of a delightful hall stairs and and landing in the depths of the countryside. A lovely space, but not maximising it's potential. We wanted to enhance the open staircase, the high ceiling, the existing floor so added a lot of mirror, in gentle smoke effect antiqued mirror so that the mirror element was not too overwhelming. We added storage for the Clients, panelling to the walls to add interest, and wallpaper colour matched upstairs to add warmth and texture near the bedrooms.
Lots of layered lighting was added throughout to add depth and functionality to each area of the space.
A bespoke stair runner was installed to lift the staircase, a chandelier was added which the mirror fully complemented and balanced, voiles at the window to soften the windows without blocking light and a bespoke seat with the softest of fabrics in a beautiful design tying together each of the colours.
