During the 19th century in Italy we witnessed an exuberance of Baroque style ceramics with an abundance of painted tiles and frescos.

The majolica used from the Santa Chiara cloister in Naples to the land of Antico Vietri are an excellent example of our ceramic skill. For its reproductions, Tridentum uses these and sumptuous designs that are entireiy hand painted. The floral and bucolic designs are the most widespread. One can also find remnants of the Italian Renaissance, Fiorentine masterpieces, Roman incunabula, as well as Moorish or "Iznik" inspirations.

Contrary to marble and stone where nature is mistress, the hand of Man is of utmost importance in decorative ceramics, where he imagines his colors, creates his motifs, commits his very personality and plays with fire.
