Harvard Stilt House
This 3,300 square-foot home is built on stilts to negotiate a steeply sloped site while minimizing disruption of the forest ecosystem. The home's series of treehouse-like boxes, connected by the spine of a central hallway, capture views of Bear Hill Pond through generous glazing. Massive LiftSlide doors open onto the home's two balcony perches. Project features Zola Windows' Thermo Wood™ and Classic Wood™ lines. House designed by Peter Rose + Partners and built by Skinner & Watkins.
