The owners of this lovely home wanted to renovate their kitchen to display their traditional decor style while also introducing some contemporary elements. The biggest twist in this otherwise traditional kitchen is the change from a decorative hood cabinet to a sleek and minimalist stainless steel hood. We also changed the glass mullion design from the typical cross pattern to a more modernized detail. Another favourite element in this kitchen is the pop of dark wood on the island. We love how it grounds the space while also adding elegance and contrast.
