Nearly full "gut" rehab of a 1950's ranch home included expanding into the existing attic to capture more informal living space and a child's sleeping and play areas. Primary living spaces were opened to create a more free-flowing space conducive to entertaining while maintaining a sense of coziness while new and improved daylighting and substantial energy efficiency enhancements were implemented.
