“Infuse my home with warmth, texture, and visual interest”, requested the homeowner of a sterile white contemporary home in the hills.

The vision was accomplished by combining the homeowner’s existing pieces of furniture with new wallpaper, draperies, pillows, accessories and rugs.

Draperies in contemporary fabrics cover bare walls of glass adding texture through embroidery and surface details. Organic wallpapers of wood chevron veneer, some resembling mica stone and crocodile skin cover blank walls, giving relief and interest to expansive white walls. A warm Moroccan rug in the family room sets the tone, adding texture and unifying the room. Colorful pillows in fun textures and patterns entice the eye. Old world benches dressed with suede cushions and a large silk and wool Tibetan rug invite great conversations around the fire in the living room, fur pillows and throws make the conversations linger and unique accessories intrigue the eye and complete the vision.
