Interior designer Jody Ellyne Bailey made simple changes that updated the ambiance of a classic Hinsdale home. In the dining room she provided more sophisticated, yet contemporary, seating around the customer’s antique heirloom dining table. The new Henredon sideboard and Bernhardt dining chairs, from Toms-Price, brought a more transitional look to the home.

Adding a fresh off-white Bernhardt sofa and silver chain-link cocktail table, along with an off-white rug, made the living room more open and sophisticated. Through furniture rearrangements, Jody created a conversation/reading center in the room's alcove using the customer's existing stuffed antique chairs, and relocated the customer's 9’ x 12’ traditional oriental rug to the husband’s office for a more dramatic look.
