Historic Seattle home radius balustrade replication
This 1908 Seattle victorian has a flat porch roof that originally had a decorative balustrade railing to complete the architectural look of the exterior. Rotted away long ago, the owners wanted to replicate the look and bring this grand home back to its original look. At Westbrook Carpentry & Millwork we replicated the balustrade in our shop using a variety of techniques to build the railing in sections. Not the smallest detail was lost, right down to a balusters or spindles lining up with the spacing with the railing on the lower porch section. If you're looking for custom carpentry, with a personalized service experience, contact Daniel Westbrook anytime. A big thank you for my clients trust and teamwork!
