Historical Sardy House Aspen
A well-known landmark in the Aspen Historic District, the Sardy House was renovated to bring it out of its heavy, dark Victorian interiors. Contemporary art and furnishings were mixed in with traditional pieces, but the original bones and molding details retained. The result was a brighter, fresher look, with updated appliances and utilities. The combination of modern art by local artists, classic modern furnishings, contemporary lighting, and the existing antiques created a successful eclectic look.
The seven-room Bed & Breakfast was updated with fresh bedding, carpeting, artwork, audio video and furnishings.
