When a design client approached me to design her home workspace, I did not hesitate. Her home is in gorgeous Bee Cave overlooking hills. She wanted for the project to be fast and for the space to be both functional and with laid back sophistication. She needed the walls to stay the same, it’s in army green in a sort of Ernest Hemingway feel with deep walnut chair rail moldings. She wanted to reuse furnishings she already had and buy only a few new accent furniture items plus accessories. We came up with a transitional style with punches of orange --- her favorite color & orb lighting to illuminate the space.
