This home had a narrow and meandering layout that the owners wanted opened up for the purpose of hosting and adding light to the space. The finished basement kept us from opening the wall completely without a post, so we embraced the area and built a fully custom floating Walnut shelving feature with pass-through bar top there. There is built-in seating at the dining area and several new windows to let in light, a coffer ceiling with a wood finish and custom LED up lighting around the perimeter. Custom quartz fireplace finish, Walnut mantle and shelving, and a whitewashed Beetle kill Pine wall complete the now bright and open kitchen.
