Hudson River Home

This project began in 2007 and continued through 2010. Situated along the Hudson River in Hyde Park, NY- it quickly gained attention of passers by along the Hudson river. Privately owned, this home features a 20,000 sq/ft main home and a smaller guest house (modeled after the main home). Our scope included curtain wall at exterior, glass guard railing systems at all balcony and deck locations, glass guardrail at pool, frameless enclosures at interior, railing systems at interior, two story curved glass wall at interior (not shown - owner privacy request), glass herculite entrances with biometric entry (not shown - owner privacy request) and Weiland lift slide doors.

The unique geographic location, combined with extensive glass and metal work has had this home featured heavily - including USGlass, NY Times and Architectural Digest.

Glazing the home's exterior, with panels of glass weighing in at approximately 700lbs each, combating the Hudson Rivers winds during the winter months proved to be a unique challenge. ATM Mirror and Glass had been nominated for the prestigious NGA "Crystal Achievement Award" for this project.
