Hyde Park Home - Kitchen Remodel
The initial thought was to build a kitchen addition to accommodate the client needs (adding a 1/2 bath and coat closet, updating the work triangle, and upgrading the appliances) and it became a far less expensive renovation of the existing space. The entire wish list was met, including integrating the visual aesthetic of the new cabinetry into the architectural style of the c. 1925 craftsman style brick house. Special note: the existing pantry door was reused for the new powder room, and a spectacular matching wood door with the unique 4-square raised panel design was found at Wooden Nickel for the new coat closet!
