Ideas For Repurposing and Reusing

I believe that before you embark on any design or decorating project that you must first assess all of your furnishings and decide what you would like to keep and what you would like to either relocate to another room, or give away. This would include "shopping" in other rooms of your home - often moving pieces between rooms freshens them up. Also, there may be items that can be repaired or repurposed. Sometimes an item may need a coat of paint, new fabric, or a new frame. Here are some of my favourite reused items that I've found in my clients' homes. Terri Nix Chabot. Chabot Interiors

BEFORE: This door knocker was special to the homeowner so we included it as part of the new design.
