This In-town Modern Farmhouse started its life as a 1950s ranch. The house was taken down to the foundation and a new home was created to meet the special requirements of its owners. The home needed to be accessible but not have a typical wheelchair ramp that is exposed. The ramp is integrated under the front porch roof and seamlessly blends in with the front porch and steps. The rest of the exterior utilizes classic forms and materials, along with black windows, for this new, classic look.
The interior is very warm and serene with wood accents throughout, brass fixtures, and an amazing kitchen that is perfect for the family or for entertaining large groups. The kitchen opens to a dining room, a living room, and finally a screen porch. All these spaces can feel like one when entertaining or as separate, distinct spaces when not.
