Irving Street Loft

Collaboration with a client who knows what he wants is a gift for a designer. Leading his choices with selective sourcing and color at every turn, we created a customized loft that addressed daily city life and high end entertaining.
Our color palette started with a bold wool area rug. The brave blue crushed velvet custom sofa by Perch and cheerful orange Joybird dining chairs invite you to linger long after dinner around the walnut Saloom dining table.
Local craftsman Ian Mayer of Lorax General Contractors realized the client's vision for a custom bookcase with a "mad-men-esque" hidden bar. The collaboration continued with the wall mounted mild steel gate leg bar table.
A pop of blue powder coat takes our color palette to the pendant lights over the kitchen island, and carefully selected bar and counter stools create thoughtful perches throughout the space.
Custom craftsmanship is also highlighted in the master bedroom walnut nightstands and storage bed. Walls await art curated during the homeowner's travels.
A DWR leather Eames Lounger is the jewel in the space, where a smart cocktail and a good book while taking in the expansive city views are now the norm.
