Julian Street
Nestled in the coveted Highlands Square neighborhood, this 1895 Denver Square in Denver’s Allen M. Ghost Historic District has undergone a thoughtful renovation aimed at restoring its original Victorian charm while incorporating playful, English-inspired design elements. The restoration remodel project sought to realign the home’s aesthetic with its architectural roots, which had been compromised by a previous open-concept remodel. By re-enclosing select spaces, we reinstated the classic floor plan, bringing back the intimate, defined rooms typical of the era.
The true essence of this historic home shines through in the carefully curated interior design details: intricate wood moulding and millwork, the addition of transom windows above second-floor doorways, and the selection of period-appropriate finishes. Every choice was made to honor the home’s historical character while ensuring it meets the functional needs of a young, modern family, balancing heritage and contemporary living.
