"A cozy place to sit outside and enjoy the sun" is what the client desired. We designed a makeover that included a 'sip-and-chat with the neighbors' area, bamboo in metal troughs for privacy, a raised veggie bed, an outdoor dining area and a flagstone path edged with part-shade loving plants.
