What was previously a compact master bathroom original to the 70's, is now a refreshed and airy space for the couple who lives here. Before the remodel, this space featured dropped ceilings, 1 vanity sink, inadequate storage, hospital-like lighting, a swing door into the shower area, shabby shower tile and water-damaged vinyl flooring. Now the space has transformed into a space the clients can enjoy and actually use at the same time!

When you walk into the bathroom, the right wall boasts a two sink, built-in vanity for a his and hers work center while providing plenty of storage and countertop space. The warm, smooth-touch wood laminate cabinets compliments the slight gold veining in the quartz countertop for a European minimalistic feel. Matte black finishes keep the design feeling clean, simple, and modern. A single vanity light in between the two recessed medicine cabinets provides lighting at eye-level for someone using the sink for daily tasks such as applying makeup or shaving their face, which can be dimmed or brightened for early mornings or late nights. Additional overhead lighting brightens up the sink area, while a vent fan with LED light illuminates the shower area.

As you enter the shower area, a pocket door with a mirror insert has been installed so that a swing door would not impede in the space. The Toto dual-flush toilet shown here is an environmentally friendly option, which also has the option of installing a bidet seat. As you walk into the shower, 12" x 24" charcoal tile meets its coordinating 2x2 mosaic tile. A recessed niche sits directly underneath the obscure window for storage and a corner shower bench allows a place to sit and relax. Overall, this space feels brighter and less cramped, making it feel as if your in a luxurious 5 star hotel!
