Built in the early 90's, this master bath once had a corner jetted tub with tile steps that protruded into the space with carpet floors, oak cabinets, brass hardware, and an angled vanity wall that further shrunk the space. Now the clients are able to enjoy walking into their updated space with heated tile floors, a freestanding tub that even the kids get to use, a larger vanity that makes better use of storage with roll-outs underneath the sinks, and a his and hers shower with a herringbone tile design.

The navy, double sink vanity contrasts beautifully with the grey quartzite-look tile while a grey-veining quartz countertop balances the two out perfectly. Keeping with a corner tub allowed the corner window to stay symmetrical to the fixture and to create a dedicated tub area. A mirrored door separates the water closet from the main bathroom, allowing the client to see themselves fully while trying on outfits. Within that closet is an updated Toto toilet with a floating quartz shelf above to match the vanity top. A wall cabinet sits above providing additional storage for toilet paper and other products.

The large shower boasts 12x24 marble-look wall tile with dark blue herringbone floor and niche tile. Having the large, horizontal niche provides enough space for the homeowners to use Costco-sized products without having to squeeze their hands underneath to access. With everything completed, the space feels light and airy with a pop of calming blue colors that feel soothing and restful, where you can decompress after a long day.
