Kirkwood, MO Lower Level Conversion

A one-car garage is turned into a family room, which then transforms a basement into a light-filled lower level with a kitchenette (with a back-lit quartz countertop), dining area and mudroom. A new driveway, rear courtyard, landscaping and detached garage are also a part of this lower level conversion project.

This room used to be an attached one-car garage on the lower level of a mid-century home in Kirkwood,MO. Now it's a light-filled and comfy family room.
Lower Level Conversion
On the exterior, where an overhead garage door was is now Pella ProLine windows, and new brick to match the existing home. A stone paver retaining wall doubles as a flower bed, and a new driveway leads to the new detached 2-car garage, an upgrade from the previous one-car.
