This kitchen really sneaks up on you. It has the least expensive cabinets we can build yet it still comes out with a very timeless quality. The kitchen is very small but it feels big. This is because we paid a lot of attention to proportions and modulation. Nothing is over the top. We re-used the original Sears Kenmore appliances and stayed with formica countertops because they were cost effective and seemed to hold up just fine on the first kitchen.
