Kitchen Makeover

Imagine More designer, Shelly Endres, was called to help her clients bring their dated white kitchen to life and create a warm and inviting space while increasing its functionality.

The only big span of counter was being filled with a microwave and electronics leaving this family very little preparation space.
Sterile Style, No Counter Space

The height of this window created a problem in extending the counter top. The furnace duct also was keeping the homeowners from being able to put anything underneath the window. The result was an underutilized area.
Awkward Window

The white tile on the white cupboards did nothing to make this kitchen stand out. The homeowners were ready to add some color and richness to an otherwise drab palette.

The upper cabinets ended at the wall leaving the windows on the wall beside it bare and disconnected from the rest of the kitchen.

Designer, Shelly Endres, created a warm and inviting kitchen using Quality Cabinets with the Jamestown 2 door style in Cafe.
Rich Cabinet Color
Suggesting that the homeowners install an above range microwave not only freed up counter space on the refrigerator wall, but also gave a focal point to the room. The glass tile accent behind the existing range ties all of the tones of the kitchen together in a rich and subtle way.
Focal Wall
The once awkward window and space underneath is now a seamless extension of the counter. The high-definition laminate top becomes the sill for the window and allows the look of the counter to visually extend to the end of the space. Seamless Integration
