This kitchen nook had an oddly placed built in desk that created a space to small for a dining table. By taking out the desk we were able to add storage, a bench seat and create a warm and cozy space. The drawers are perfect for back packs after school and the seat serves as a great place to hang out and chat while dinner is being prepared. If a kitchen table is needed it pulls up to the bench. Add a few chairs and you have a dining area. Custom cornice boards dress the windows and pull the whole look together.
