Old inefficient windows, out-of-date cabinetry, and moisture damage brought the clients to our door in the hope of solving some of these problems and refreshing the space. Though some updates had been made since the homes original construction in 1955, the kitchen was incredibly dated and the space came off as shadowy and dark.
Removing the soffit to create a flat uniform ceiling helped to open the space up and provide a more connected feel through the room. Meanwhile smooth clean lines and lighter colors modernize the aesthetic while offering contrast to the customers' more dynamic flooring choice.
