This was an entire first floor remodel. We began by taking down many of the walls and creating an open floor plan. Before, the kitchen was small, with low countertops and each room was closed off. We added all new cabinets, a large island with natural soapstone countertops, a built in bench seat near a new larger picture window. Re-plastered the ceilings, new tile flooring in the entry, and sunroom. Connected the two existing fire-places with a custom ship-lap surround and found a reclaimed wood beam to match the existing one. All new lighting, paint, and refinished flooring updated the look and feel of this classic home.
