This well built home from the early 1980's had no updates since it was built. The homeowners wanted to have a less busy more modern feel in their kitchen but were on a bit of a budget so replacing the cabinets and countertops was out of the question. The french country design on the wallpaper made the room extremely dated and removing it was giving the client the most impact in calming the room for their budget. The wallpaper was removed. All walls were then skim coated. Baseboards, crown molding, and chair rail repaired in multiple locations and then everything received a fresh coat of paint. The before and after pictures say it all.
