L'Aventure Winery tasting room matches its premium wines and regional approach to winemaking. New tasting room design based on a regional perspective includes using colors and materials found at the site, inspiration of forms from surrounding outbuildings, easing into the hillside as a 'portal' to the caves inside of the hill.
Early designs/watercolors show the tasting room shell (curves of the land itself) emerging from the hill as an the entry to the extensive wine caves. The shell allows indoor/outdoor transitions from the caves and shades western sun for outdoor events and tastings.
