We used Ipe deck tiles. Ipe is a Brazilian walnut with beneficial inherent properties. We love it for its natural bug, water and rot resistance. It's harder than Oak and is very pleasing to the eye. It can weather over time to a grey or can be UV protected with oils to keep it's rich warm color. Similar to Teak and sure to stand out.
