Lake Harriet Revival
The owners of this 1925 Tuscan-style home love their neighborhood. Nestled just south of Lake Harriet, this charming, tree-lined area seemed ideal for their family. However, they knew from day one that the house required some work to truly feel like home. Though the property had been lovingly maintained through the years, the original kitchen was cramped and outdated. As avid entertainers, they longed for a kitchen that served as a welcoming hub for friends and family. And with our homeowner’s passion for cooking, they needed the kitchen to accommodate their cherished Peruvian family recipes.
Working closely with the family, we crafted a design that honored the home’s original character while introducing modern functionality and elegance. The new layout features a spacious, eat-in island, an expansive custom hood and gothic-inspired archways that add a sense of grandeur. The kitchen now boasts rich textures, warm hues, and meticulous details that blend seamlessly with the home’s classic Tuscan charm.
Now, this newly reimagined gourmet kitchen is the true heart of the home. It has transformed family dinners, social gatherings, and everyday life, filling the space with warmth, flavor, and laughter.
