Lake Huron Residence
The Sciotti Residence project was an interior renovation of two bedrooms and one bathroom into a Master Suite. A large master bathroom with a steam shower, his and her vanities, and a large hydrotherapy tub was built in what was formerly a bedroom. The existing bathroom was stripped to framing and the ceiling was vaulted to create a large closet / changing room. The existing master bedroom remained in its existing location, but the room was stripped down to framing so new spray foam insulation could be added and the ceiling could be vaulted.
In addition to the Master Suite, the existing main entry of the home was updated to match the new, contemporary look. A stainless steel and wood railing was added and the wall adjacent to the stair was opened up to allow visitor's first view to be of Lake Huron.
