We constructed a 2nd floor bathroom in an attic space adjacent to a media room. Due to a raised ceiling below, our new bathroom steps up from the floor elevation in the room. In addition, we constructed a new access door to the attic disguised as a bookcase. This bookcase door swings incredibly smoothly and includes a discrete bolt lock at the top.
