The backyard was flat grass with no other character before we got started. The client asked for a colorful, fun planting scheme with a new patio and matching fire pit. We had fun bringing a certain level of fancifulness and enchantment to the space. It looks complicated but is exactly a low maintenance garden. We were not hired to rehabilitate the grass.
