The client wanted a "natural" garden with a grass lawn mixed with clover and surrounding drought-tolerant plants with emphasis on the wild side. We lifted up the lawn creating a walled terrace and surrounded it with plants, then did a similar planting on the other side with circle "natural" lawn. The client also did half of the planting DIY to save money.
