Lancaster Timber Frame Cocalico Creek Residence

Lancaster Timber Frame Cocalico Creek Residence:

Situated on a generous rural site in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, this project included new construction of a custom single-family residence. The structure was conceived as an assemblage of multiple heavy-timber frames radiating from the central living space.

The building was sited on a bluff considering sweeping views of the landscape, as well as natural light and sun exposures to the interior and exterior living spaces. Heavy stone paving surfaces and tree elements, reclaimed from the site, weave through the perimeter walls diminishing the separation of interior from exterior.
